JobsDB.com Career Expo 2008 Singapore
JobsDB.com Singapore recently held its inaugural JobsDB.com Career Expo 2008 at Suntec Convention Halls from 18 - 20 January. The career expo facilitated face-to-face interaction between employees and job applications, giving participants greater insights to the careers and calibre of talent available. Meeting rooms were also available on-site to facilitate any ad-hoc interviews or meeting sessions between employers and their prospective employees. More than 150 leading companies from both the public and private sectors participated at the expo, including Adidas, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, CertisCisco, DBS Bank Limited, Singapore Airlines, and Standard Chartered Bank. The JobsDB.com Career Expo 2008 saw an attendance of over 50,000 people, and close to 100,000 resumes was received for job postings at the career expo. These results are a clear testament to the effectiveness of a paperless career expo. |
