CAT – Starting out In the Accounting Profession
In recent years, an increasing number of accounting professionals join the accounting and finance force. For high school, certificate and LCCI holders, ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) scheme is especially designed to provide you with a solid foundation to start a career in accounting and finance, or to accelerate progression to a more senior position.
ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
- Internationally recognised with over 30,000 CAT students and 19,000 graduates worldwide
- Automatically transfer to the Skills module of the ACCA Qualification by claiming exemption from the first three papers in the Knowledge module
- With the designation of “CAT”, you will be considered for positions from accounting officer to accountant in SMEs, audit officer in accounting firms, assistant taxation officer and tax inspector II of the Inland Revenue Department
- Articulation to programmes from local and UK renowned universities
- CAT graduates are eligible to apply for IFPHK (The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong) associate membership
