Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture of telecommunications and power transmission structures as well as erection of telecommunication towers. They are also a leading manufacturer of water tanks in Malaysia. They provide comprehensive engineering and infrastructure management services.  The business activities are diversified and span across different industry sectors and markets.

They are currently seeking the following position to be filled:-

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, maintaining and optimizing the galvanising plant;
• Assist in ensuring cost effectiveness on operation while maintaining the quality of product and services and compliance to all Safety and Health and environment legislation;
• Carry out weekly production scheduling and monitoring the production closely in order to meet the production target;
• Review and monitor all existing procedures and work instructions regularly and develop new procedures and work instructions for continuous improvement of the quality systems;
• Liaise and attend to external customers on sales and galvanising services including preparation of sales quotations and attending to customer complaints.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment or similar industry;
• Dynamic, self motivated, responsible and ability to work under minimum supervision;
• Able to communicate with all levels, assertive, initiative and encourage teamwork;
• Ability to lead a team.
