Procurement Engineer

Reports To : Sustaining Procurement Manager

Location : Senawang, Seremban

Job Responsibilities:

· Involve in New Product Introduction management including DFM / DFT (Design for Manufacturability/Design for Test) and MRR (Manufacturing Readiness review).

· Assist in tooling management; approval and cost (Mechanical / Process).

· Engineering Change Management included Introduction, cost and upgrades

· To handle New Product RFQ

· Monitor Supplier Performance through monthly Customer Satisfaction Indices, Quarterly Business Review and Continuous Improvements Reports.

Job Requirements:

· 2 to 3 years experience in PCBA engineering (technical/commercial).

· Candidate with experience in PCBA quality control or process would be an added advantage (*not vendor quality control).

· Candidate with procurement experience would be an added advantage.

· Basic Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Process/Industrial Engineering. But not Electrical Engineering.

· Good personality: proactive and aggressive. Ability to contribute to the team.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to work in Seremban and on a travelling role (about 25%, mainly to Penang).
