Reporting to the Regional Technical Director based in KL and the Site Manager, you will assistant in managing the cooling plant facilities in Malaysia and attend internal and external trainings.
In this role, you will manage the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) work to ensure that the plant operates under safe and efficient conditions. You will also work with our technical team to implement energy management performance indicators, prepare project budget, see to the required documentation, as well as develop the O&M work schedules in accordance with the scope of works specified in the contracts. In addition, you will supervise and monitor works carried out by our teams and subcontractors to ensure that they comply with the specifications and the relevant statutory regulations, and that they complete on time. Organizing staff training on safety, health and technical aspects and resolving day-to-day technical issues with regard to the cooling plant and network operations also come under your purview.
As a position potentially leading to the post of Plant Manager, you are also required to observe, understand and learn the duties of the Plant Manager, in order to manager the cooling plant in the future.
To be successful, you must possess
l Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or a related discipline.
l At least 5 to 6 years experience in plant operation and maintenance, building service or E&M services.
l Familiar with chillers, pumps, LV switch boards.
l Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
l Customer-oriented, inquisitive and ambitious.
l Proficient in PC application and preferable fluent in English and MANDARIN.
l Able o move in Malaysia or short projects in Asia.
