CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER ( Muar - Johor )


Responsibilities :

  • Responsible to manage and hold all the cash in the strong room including of foreign currency notes.

  • Attend to withdrawal and deposit of cash from and to BNM as and when necessary.

  • Responsible in ensuring that the Bank maintains optimum level of cash at all times.

  • Monitor the cash positions of tellers throughout the day.

  • To attend customers' request for copy of bank statement, cheques and slips and levy appropriate charges for the request.

  • To approve teller transactions over the counter.

  • To attend opening of deposit accounts for the branch.

  • To attend clearing cheques in accordance to CTCS requirement.

  • To approve all remittance transactions for the day.

  • To perform other duties assigned by Head of Department/Management.


Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Business studies/Management/Finance/Banking or related fields.

  • Candidate must be aptitude for figures and detailed in work.

  • At least 3 to 4 years experience in Banking Operations.

  • Good knowledge of AML/CFT.

  • Good computer and database literacy especially in MS Word, MS Excel, etc.

  • Conversant with Exchange Control Malaysia Act and Legal and banking practices regarding cheques and operations of current account.

  • Applicant should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

  • The candidate must be willing to relocate to other states.
