PMAP 42nd Annual Conference (Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City) Date Posted: 10/02/05 | Date Of Event: 28-30 September 2005   JobsDB Phils, Inc. once again pledged its support and solidarity for the human resource practitioners in the country by participating in the 42nd Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Conference held at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City last September 28-30. It was a time for HR experts to bond, network, and learn from each other. One of the themes continually emphasized during the conference was loyalty - not just to one's company and sense of professionalism, but one country. Many of the speakers rkept on reemphasizing that to live in the PHilippines is to have hope. Lirio Azucena, the HR Officer of JobsDB Phils, Inc., sums it up: "It is heartening to know that, inspite of the economy and the problems our country is facing, many of these HR professionals who had the option to go abroad decided to stay here to give in whatever way they can their contributions to the betterment of the country."
