Touch Asia Call Center, Inc. (TouchAsia) was founded in the US by people with a rich background and years of experience in the telecom industry. Its core business arises from the need to respond to the growing demand for retail and wholesale telecommunication services. As the telecom industry grew, so did competition coming from different parts of the globe. This prompted TouchAsia to seek ways to improve client servicing by lowering operational costs.

The answer came with the decision to move the company’s customer service department into the Philippines, a country with a highly developed IT industry and a wealth of skilled and qualified manpower. TouchAsia then ventured into offering contact center solutions, having built a robust telecom infrastructure. Last year it made a big move by entering the outsource contact business.

The closing of a US contact center company’s operations in the Philippines proved to be a major victory for TouchAsia when it acquired the said company’s key accounts and highly-trained staff. This brought together the combined strength of contact center operational experience from its new people and TouchAsia’s existing telecommunications infrastructure, technology and business management.

The company has since grown almost 20 times bigger in terms of revenue, 10 times with respect to staff; and almost 40 times in seat number.
