Background:

The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) is a landmark in the national employment industry, its members holding various important positions in all levels in a wide range of industries, from finance, retail, marketing, BPOs, to IT.  It has always encouraged its members as well as the millions of Filipinos in the workforce, graduating students, and unemployed but skilled workers to look for work and establish a career that will develop their potentials, provide them and their families a comfortable standard of living and a future, become assets to their companies and, in the process, help contribute to the strengthening of the national economy.

PMAP also stands for competence, a degree of credibility, excellence, prestige that can elevate this PMAP Job Fair above others that have gone before it.  The level of training and alliances it will create for this fair will open doors of opportunities and other advantages for the jobseekers that would not be possible to another organizer.

As such, aside from the participation of companies that will bring in the necessary job openings, the PMAP Job Fair will also hold seminars and workshops that will create an avenue of training or provide information that employees and jobseekers alike can use to increase their leverage or be more effective in their positions of employment.

The PMAP Job Fair will also make use of cutting-edge technology to bring these jobseekers and/or employees to their work preferences or “dream job” at less cost and faster time

JobsDB Philippines, Inc., the leading internet recruitment network in Asia, will provide special assistance to PMAP and the PMAP Job Fair by bringing in the paperless job fair system, a career card that will enable a cardholder’s resume to be sent online as part of his application to several different companies during this Job Fair and perhaps in others.  JobsDB Phils, Inc. will also invite its client companies to post their job openings in their respective booths and possibly conduct interviews for those who are qualified.
