The first 30 seconds is crucial when meeting someone new as his or her first impressions of you will be formed based on your appearance and how you behaved, said Elaine Heng, Principal Image Consultant of Elaine Heng Image Consultancy.
On 10th March 2007, she gave a talk on impressing at the first sight by knowing where you are and the image you wish to project, for the next meeting could land you the coveted job which you’ve always dreamt of.
Participants learnt how you could make the most of themselves by dressing for their body shape, lifestyle and personality. Participants also discovered how the right colours make an amazing difference to the way they look and feel, to help them achieve different looks for different occasions. |
