Preparation For An Interview – How Important is this to you?

What to bring

  • The interviewee should also carry with them at least 2 copies of their resumes or certificates as the interviewee must be prepare to provide a copy to the interviewer
  • It is also preferred that the interviewee creates his or her own resume as many companies and agencies would like to see how the resume is being written or prepared

Time is essential

  • The interviewee should be at the interview site 15 minutes before the scheduled time for filling in the necessary application form

Carriage is important

  • When you entered into the interview room, it is customary for you to greet your interviewer first.
  • If possible, ask permission to be seated or usually the interviewer will invite you to take a seat.
  • If you are seated and the interviewer walks in, you should get up and when the interviewer sits, then you can only seat.
  • If you have came late for the interview, apologise to the interviewer for being late.

The questions

  • During the course of the interview, listen carefully and ask if you need further clarification
  • The interviewee should answer the question to the best he or she could
  • The interviewee should also ask any inquiries he or she wants to know about the job as well as the company

Yes! It’s over!

  • Once the interview is completed, the interviewee should thank the interviewer together with a gesture of a handshake to show a sign of professionalism and well mannered
  • After then interview, the applicant should send an e-mail if possible to thank the interviewer or the coordinator for arranging the interview for him or her and ask when the right time to follow up on it is. With these steps, many interviewers will feel comfortable and as well as given the respect to the applicant and application for being polite and professional
