| INSTRUCTOR/FACILITATOR’S
BACKGROUND:
TERESITA BURGOS-GUTIERREZ is a professional
speaker, corporate trainer, textbook writer, and teacher.
She is a Training Consultant of various business establishments,
author of Speech books for REX GROUP OF COMPANIES,
and a volunteer teacher at the Adult Night High School LA
SALLE GREENHILLS, a school for the marginalized ran
by the De La Salle Brothers of the Philippines where she was
conferred the Most Outstanding Teacher Award for 2004.
Her global experiences,
including observations of the public and private educational
systems in the United States of America, have widened her
personal and professional horizon. In October of 2004, Gutierrez
was invited as a Guest Presenter during the statewide convention
of the FILIPINO-AMERICAN EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION IN
CALIFORNIA held in San Francisco. A strong advocate
for women empowerment, Gutierrez is an officer and member
of the Board of Trustees of the United Nations Development
Fund for Women, Philippine Chapter.
